Karcher Floor Scrubbers for Professionals
Compared to manual floor cleaning, scrubber dryers are quicker, more cost-effective and more thorough when it comes to cleaning all types of floors. A scrubber dryer saves you time and chemicals, this protects employees as well as your wallet. Scrubber dryers are the most efficient cleaning solution for all floors, whether it’s 30 or 30,000 m² in size.
How does a Floor Cleaner work?
The rollers on Kärcher’s floor cleaners are continuously moistened with fresh water, the dirty water is scraped off and collected in a tank. The floor cleaners don’t have a suction motor, so they are incredibly slimline, easy to manoeuvre and quiet. The roller drive ensures perfect edge cleaning.
Floor cleaners leave your floor shining – cleaning approximately 20% more thoroughly and requiring far less effort than any mop. Instead of wiping dirt back and forth, the automatically powered rollers simply absorb it and then transport the dirty water into a separate tank. In doing so, the floor cleaners leave behind very little residual moisture on the floor that they can be walked on in just two minutes. Thorough cleaning with the correct Karcher chemical removes up to 99.9% of all common household bacteria from all common household hard floors.
Thanks to the patented scraper technology, you can achieve perfect results with the all-in-one floor cleaners. They mop and pick up all types as dry and wet everyday dirt in a single step. Even in corners and along edges, like you would expect. Hairs are also easily picked up with the integrated hair combs.
No more scrubbing by hand, no more tedious wringing out a dirty cloth or mop and no more dragging around a bucket.
How does a Floor Scrubber work?
All modern scrubber dryers with a roller or disc brush head essentially work in the same way. The cleaning solution is mixed in the fresh water tank and applied to the brush head when it is activated and the water selector is opened. The rotation and contact pressure of the brush work together to remove dirt. Thanks to the turbine’s suction power, the dirty water is then vacuumed by the squeegee and collected in the dirty water tank. Single disc scrubbers on the other hand do not have a turbine or a squeegee. Loosened dirt is collected by a Kärcher wet and dry vacuum cleaner or mopped up afterwards.
Scrubber dryers are like cars – they all work the same, yet not every model is suited to each area of application. Yet thanks to different designs, sizes, brush head systems and drive technologies, it is very easy to find a machine that exactly matches your individual requirements. You know how large your surfaces are and whether they are filled with objects or not, you know the structure of your floors and their degree of soiling and we have the right floor cleaning machine for what you need.
